Product Description

Product Description

This is a truly disturbing and perverse horror movie that oozes depravity from each and every frame.

The Owner, of the title is a sex-obsessed landlord (Luis Ziembrowski) who hides cameras all over the apartments he rents out, and in particular the apartment of an up-and coming lesbian actress (Jimena Anganuzi),  whose every move and exposed flash he drools over, watching her body on playback again and again. Slowly his obsession becomes a twisted one-sided relationship in his mind that the actress only becomes aware of when its too late...

Original and demented storyline and some gut-wrenching, not-for-the-squeamish horror scenes --horror-asylum.com

Good grief, what has happened to REDEMPTION VIDEO these days?! If this release is anything to go by, somebody needs to notify Nigel Wingrove that this release needs pulling from their line-up immediately, due to all the problems on it.

Firstly, though, most of you are going to want to know if the film itself is any good? The short answer is, no. It's a horrible, juvenile mess of a film. The story has been done before, and filmed better, so is hardly an original piece of work. The direction is infantile. The acting is a joke (and not in a good way). How anyone involved in this garbage can claim to have a millimetre of talent, is beyond me?! I've seen more intensity and broodiness from a dead goldfish, than the cast in this film. In fact, the whole thing is borderline moronic. It's also one of the most misogynistic pieces of trash I've ever sat through, and I'm just an ordinary guy. The inclusion of the lesbian characters, are included for no other reason, than to be mildly titillating. (They aren't, and the characters are utterly vacuous!) The landlord, is just an averagely nasty bloke, who happens to enjoy getting his rocks off watching hidden camera footage of his female tenants. And his friends, who happen to work in the film industry, are just plain idiots!

Seriously, when a website describes this film as "one of a new wave of South American horror films that are genuinely pushing and exploring the presentation of horror", and this is plastered over the back of the case, and then every single word of that statement is wrong, you know there are major problems ahead.
