Love him or hate him, this dvd shows just what a Superstar at the top of his company has to do week in week out when not in the ring performing. Media appearances... guest slots on TV shows award ceremonies. its the closest we'll get to a fly on the wall documentary. Personally I'd love to see other Superstars' Experiences too. highlights from the dvd, for me at least, was his Make A Wish duties, setting himself a target of signing hundreds and hundreds of autographed pictures in 3 hours...(never knew he was a Leftie like me!) and the ESPN studio media blitz where he appeared on several shows one after the other in the space of a few hours in one building. How John keeps up his energy, I don't know. but like him or loathe him - John Cena is the definition of a company man without a doubt.

The john cena experience dvd is not bad but I prefer john cena my life it is better in my opinion it has more knowing of john before he came to WWE hard knocks gym then WWE superstar

The DVD came within 2 days and I was very happy! The DvD is great and around 7 hours, on the first disc is the actuall 'John Cena Experience' whereas the other 2 discs and just matches he has previously won. I enjoyed it very much and would reccomend it!

Format: DVD
Disk one: The first disk of this three disk set is a documentary following John Cena around for about a year, It mostly shows his life outside the ring starting off with the Tribute to the Troops show and going through all the big things he did outside the WWE, like tv interviews, charity work and movies. It's a decent documentary but unless you are really interested in Cena's life outside of WWE you probably won't want to watch this more than once, Wrestling is rarely brought up other than in the Tribute to the Troops show and when he is preparing for Wrestlemania 26.

Disk two: Disk two and three are the matches, and the reason that I enjoyed this set. The first disk wasn't all that great but these matches make up for it.

vs Booker T(No Mercy 2004)

This was the final match in the best of five series they were having over the US championship. They were tied so the winner of this match would win the series. This was a good back and forth match, it was similar to the rest of their series together but that was a good thing because these two worked well together. 3/5

vs Kurt Angle(No Way Out 2005)

This match was for the number one contender spot at Wrestlemania 21. This was a great match, Kurt used his usual wrestling style while John used his brawling. One of John's best matches of his career so far. 4/5

vs Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels(Taboo Tuesday 2005)

This was for the WWE championship, Shawn Michaels was voted for to be in this match over Big Show and Kane. In the beginning of this match there is a lot of one on one fighting since someone would be thrown out the ring. John Cena spent a lot of this match on the outside too.Read more ›
