Product Description

100% uncut , english and german audio : As a child, Ed was cleaning his father's hunting rifles for as part of a surprise birthday treat for his old man when one firearm accidentally discharges fatally striking his own mother in the back. His father, Jack Sr came home, saw his wife dead, and blaming his own offspring tried to commit infanticide before Ed managed to escape his father's murderous antics. Leaving his old man to sleep into mournful psychosis as he began pouring whiskey down his slain wife's throat. Ed now in his teens returns back to his family home, his dad long since supposedly vanished...only he hasn't and has been waiting for a chance to even the score with his kid...right about...now

The story of The Mutilator is nothing new. Bunch of college kids partying during Spring Break are killed one by one by a homicidal maniac. What makes this different from other 80s slashers is the amount of gore on show.

This film does contain some pretty nasty murder sequences (the fish hook scene being the most infamous). The BBFC still haven't let this one slip through uncut.

The picture quality of this DVD is quite poor but it doesn't matter. You can still see everything that is going on and a poor picture quality can be expected from a film like this. The main reason to have this is that it's fully uncut and quite rare.

Get this now! You can't call yourself a true slasher fan until you have this in your collection.

Don't bother with the the VIPCO DVD of the Mutilator. Its cut by minutes. Those Brits sure know how to butcher a great horror film, and since The Mutilator was a video nasty, expect heavy cuts on the UK disc.
Anyhow, Dragon Entertainment's release of The Mutilator is the full Uncut version, including the notorious Gaffing scene and lots more dismemberment and mayhem.
Code Red DVD came to find out, through their own hardships and efforts to contact filmakers involved w/ the Mutilator, that the original negative and all uncut source prints are lost. That sad fact indicates this German import DVD from Dragon IS and likely will remain the best available version to own. Its a tad grainy, and slightly darker than what we expect from a typical DVD release, but all in all very watchable. The audio is clear and there isn't excess noise, pops or hiss to detract from the experience. Buy it b4 they disappear like most Dragon DVDs. Im still scrying the internet for an original copy of Dragon's Brain Slasher with no luck!!!

A terrible movie. The acting,directing and cinematography were pathetic. One of the worst slasher films I have ever seen. I wasted my money. Don't buy this dvd!!!!
