The much awaited debut album after the stunning masterpiece that was the EP 'why you runnin' which if you haven't bought yet I thouroughly recommend. Lissie is pure raw talent, not only is she a beautiful woman but she is one of the best vocalists around and also a fantastic songwriter. From uptempo folk/rock numbers such as 'In Sleep' to the more calm, ambient and haunting sounds of 'everywhere I go' - this album is a joy to listen to from start to finish. My favourite Lissie song 'Wedding Bells' isn't on here, but you can buy it off the EP, it's also a B-side track to 'In Sleep' - this girl can't go wrong and I hope this album does really well, she's in the UK for the summer touring so go see her!

After hearing the mesmerising 'Everwhere I Go' on we7.com I checked out Lissie's other songs. I also saw her live in a tiny venue in London in February 2010. Quite simply, she's an amazing talent. Her voice, with a huge likeness to Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac, is so powerful and bluesey, and her sheer energy on stage has me hooked. 'In Sleep' reveals some decent guitar skills and 'Record Collector' steadily builds to a fantastic ending... I love this album, and urge you to check it out, and check Lissie out live, her band are equally as talented and can really rock... A real talent, and one to watch in 2010 and onwards. Buy this album!!

Just listened twice to what could turn out to be one of the best albums I've ever bought. I want to stand on my roof and shout about this womans talent. Catching a Tiger is like stepping out of a stale, stagnent, stuffy, warm room into the fresh cool air. If you have dreams of driving an open top car along an American freeway with the sun in the sky and the wind in your hair, this album is what you need in your stereo. Do yourself a favour, buy it, you'll love it, it's Truly Magical.
