Bought for 5yr olds, and even 3 year olds can play with some grown up help. Property names and picture matching, only 3 different values of currency 1m,2m, 5m and it teaches addition and subtraction. Everyone in the family loves the cash machine. Ours has been well used, almost daily and is still working well. The game ends when the cash machine runs out of money. So games do not go on for ever and ever. The player with the most money wins. Property and Rent have simple pricing structure. It is a very well thought out and designed game for the younger family members and adults alike. There is more of an element of luck than in real monopoly, but strategic play is required too. The kids have as much chance as the adults of winning, so it is a fair challenge for those of a competitive disposition. A firm family favourite in our household. We all highly recommend this version if you have kids too young to play real monopoly just yet. It introduces houses, hotels, increased rent for property sets etc. The chance/community chest cards are distributed by the cash machine too.(sometimes several at a time to the same player therefore an even shuffle and distribution of the various cards before loading in to the cash machine is essential.) Perhaps that part is best done by an adult. We give it 9.5/10 It is not just for young kids, all ages will like this version.

This is an excellent toy and game for the whole family to enjoy. The cash machine dispatching random notes and chance cards creates a level of interest and play that kids love rather than lifting out cards, etc. It heps them with counting and maybe gives them sonme realisation of value/ money and how you have to look after your money.
My only gripe is money and chnace notes are flimsy - would have been better on a stiffer card - but this is only minor.

The game is great, the kids love playing it. The little one (5) has proven to be a shark, never forgetting to shout rent! It is simple and the play is not to long, being limited by the number of times the cash machine is used. The girls (5) & (7) are getting lots of practice with simple maths and basic reading (reading names of properties and chance cards). It needs adult supervision which is fine because it is good quality time fun.
Reservations:- the money and chance cards need to be kept in good condition or the cash machine won't work. It does take a wee bit to set up, but it tend to do it when we are finished so the draw is ready for the next game, and I do order it so the chance cards are evenly distributed.
The cash machine really makes this game fun, the girls love playing with it and it can change the game completely!

Bought this for my 10 yr old daughter's birthday. She was initially reluctant to try it, because she'd played the original Monopoly game with a friend and found it "slow & boring". When I did persuade her to play, she really loved it. She said it's much faster than the other version, and she particularly likes using the cashpoint card in the ATM cash dispenser. She also likes the fact that you can put up houses and hotels, without having to collect a whole colour group first.
I'm getting constant requests for this game at home now, so it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. Gameplay is faster and simpler than the original version, making it much more fun for children under 12 yrs old.

Bought this for my 6 year old son, it's a modern take on the classic game which is ideal for younger children.

It contains a cash machine which churns out money and chance cards when you insert a mini cash card.

The simple language used on the street names and chance cards makes this ideal for my young son who has just learned to read.

A fun, quite simple version of Monopoly. A really good introduction to the bigger version. The cash machine element is fun and the children enjoy seeing what it throws out. Quite a small board and small money, but a good travel/holiday game. Excellent value for money.
