I have been a big fan of Bruce Lee for several years now, ever since i started martial arts myself, and i have to say that 'Way Of The Dragon' has to be one of his best films, and well worth buying. Also, this DVD now allows us to see the whole thing uncut, which is great.
Bruce Lee plays a man called Tang Lung is sent over to Italy to help protect a family resturant from the Mafia who are intent on buying the place. However, when they send for three top, martial arts experts, Tang Lung engages in three battles of life and death.
I have to say that out of all five Bruce Lee films, this one has probably the best set of fight scenes which is down to the great choreography all done by Lee himself. The bit at the end where he fights Chuck Norris has to be the best part of the whole film and is probably the best fight sequence in the history of films. And thankfully we even get to see the legendary double nunchaku duel which was taken off the vhs version.
Overall this is an all time great martial arts film and so long as you don't mind the subtitles then you are guarenteed to love this film. Even the music is good and very catchy. Definately recommended even if you are not a Bruce Lee or martial arts fan.

I have seen this film a few times before and enjoyed it. Bruce Lee is brilliant as a martial artist and his fighting style has never been matched. The only thing that let it down was the (international) humour it just isn't as funny over here then in Hong Kong and just looks corny. The story is basic but nobody watches these types of films for the story lines. The fights are really fast and athletic.

The story is: Tong Lung (Bruce Lee) comes to help his friends defend a restaurant from the mafia and just makes things worse for them. He fights them all one on one and the film re-inserts a scene that was cut over here and that was the nunchaku scene so this film is now completely uncut and in it there is a an exciting one on one fight with Chuck Norris.

The DVD its self is packed with special features including interviews, rare photos, Hong Kong Legends film trailers and a feature length audio commentary by Bey Logan with is informative and interesting to listen to amongst other features.

There was one or two things that let the film down in my view and that was the music - it sounded corny, the dubbing was terrible and the humour was awful. But the fight scenes were breath taking and the film was only 95 mins but nobody cares when its Bruce Lee. Some of the sets were really fake ans you could tell they were sets where most films you can't. I know its my fault for watching the film dubbed but you can also watch it with Catonese with English subtitles. Hong Kong Legends have done another smashing job with this film - I have some other Hong Kong Legends films.

This is in the Bruce Lee 30th Anniverary Commemorative Box Set.

This is a really good martial arts films directed by one of the greatest martial artists of our time, if you can get past the awful humour, the corny music and terrible dubbing this is essential viewing by action fans and martial art film fans alike.

This is the story about Tang Lung (Bruce Lee), who visits a Chinese Restaurant in Rome to help out against thugs that are trying to take it over.
This is possibly the best movie Bruce ever appeared in. It has a much-more-consistent pace, and Bruce not only shows his lighter side but gets to show what he is really made of, particularly in the climactic classic fight against Chuck Norris (look at the speed of those kicks!). Of course, the good news doesn't end there - this DVD version is completely uncut, so the previously forbidden footage including some nastier blows from Bruce, and of course his double-nunchaku scene, have given this film a new lease of life. The audio commentary option from Hong Kong expert Bey Logan is insightful and informative.
Definitely recommended even if you're not a Bruce Lee fan.
Also stars Robert Wall (Enter The Dragon), Whang-In Sik (Young Master, Dragon Lord) and Nora Miao (The Big Boss, Fist Of Fury).

Wow, this is one fully packed out DVD surprisingly all on one disc which is great. At last, the complete uncut version of Bruce Lee’s masterpiece ‘Way of the Dragon’ has been digitally restored and remastered for DVD transfer.
This is the only self-directed project he ever did and it shows, in my mind this is better than ‘Enter the Dragon’. Now re-instated are the 10-minutes of incredible hi-impact fight footage previously prohibited by the BBFC, including Bruce’s stunning double nunchaku battle sequence which is totally unique to this movie, you just want to keep re-watching the scene again and again. So the movie is now available to the UK audience just as director Bruce Lee intended originally.
The special features for this title include, digitally restored movie, 16:9 Anamorphic version enhanced for widescreen, audio commentary with Bey Logan and Jon Benn, AC3 5.1 digital audio, original trailer, photo gallery, rare on location photo gallery, reflections on ‘The Little Dragon’ promo and making of ‘Way of the Dragon’ text files. So all-in-all this is one great DVD with stunning extra’s and its all on one disc, a dream for Bruce Lee fans everywhere.
Hope my review helped someone.
