I wrote a detailed & passionate review of Kid Cudi's debut album, 'Man On The Moon: End Of The Day' last week, which for some reason has not been published. I am not going to try & re-create word for word what I had written - I simply want to say that having listened to rap/hip-hop for over a decade now I sincerly believe that this is one of the finest albums to come out in years. It is innovative, creative and unlike any of the other generic garbage that saturate our radio-waves these days. By using less established producers (excluding the two tracks produced by Kanye West) Kid Cudi has created his own unique sound...one based on minimal, electronica-inspired drum programming. For me every song on the album works, every track tells its own story - from the haunting 'My World' to the banging 'Cudi Zone' to the forthcoming single 'Pursuit of Happiness' featuring MGMT. In my opinion there are no weak tracks here, no filler. I know many people will buy this album off the back of the 'Day N Night' Crookers Remix (which I cannot stand) and on that basis they might not necessarily like what they hear - but this is a hip/hop album of the finest quality. Buy this record - I emplore you! You will not be disappointed!

I bought this album after hearing day 'n' nite as I wanted to hear more of Kid Cudi. This album does not disappoint, some of the songs are definately going to be the hits of the next few months.

Make Her Say, Mr Solo Dolo and Sky Might Fall stand out as the songs that make this album a great purchase.

Make say features a sample from Lady Gaga with Kanye and Common providing support for Cudi

I know this is brief but invest in this album and you won't be disappointed.
