the ninja mission is a cheesy but brilliant film from swedish director mats helge.its not your average ninja film like you get in america this days for example the brilliant american ninja.its what i would only describe as martial arts film more than ninja for the fact in this film it seems they prefer to fist fight and use machine guns where would you get that in an american film these days basically never but that only adds to the entertainment.this film has everything bad acting/bad dubbing/some decent fight scenes/shoot ups in slow motion/decent gore effects.i remember watching this on vhs in the mid 80s but it was heavily cut and the only version available on dvd is the original swedish version with english dubbing and a german version but are both uncut.this film did reach cult status in many countries but i still cant believe it hasnt been released in the uk.overall great entertainment even if it is very cheesy.
