As the reviewer before me has stated, at the time of this review the soundtrack is yet to be released so there is probably some materiel I can't comment on, but I've played the game and the score that accompanies the campaign is just wonderful, it is very unique in terms of the traditional Halo sound. I've got the soundtracks for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 (Volumes I & II), Halo 3 and Halo Wars and it is easily the best out of all of them, and I would class the Halo series as having the best sountracks of any game.

In short, quite possibly the best soundtrack to ever accompany a videogame. Preorder this on it's own as it is a joy to listen to but as with all well-written game soundtracks, it is just perfect for creating and transforming the atmosphere while you play.
You can appreciate it's beauty standalone but please, enjoy the game to hear it's genius!

Although I don't have the soundtrack yet, I do have the game and consequently have heard the score. In short, even as a connoisseur of VG soundtracks, I think it's probably the best soundtrack I have heard for a game bar none, and I really do mean that. Words fail me, but I have already pre-ordered this soundtrack. If you have to buy one VG soundtrack this year, ODST would be an unrivalled contender for your cash.

Like the other reviews before me have said this is one of, if not the best Video Game soundtrack around at the moment, topping even the Halo 3 and MoH: Frontline soundtracks. Having played the game I have heard most of the soundtrack and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only downside to this soundtrack is the late release, whilst America and such got it on the 22nd of September we have to almost a month, which raises the question of why. But nevertheless this is a great soundtrack and I would recommend it to anyone.
