Product Description

The first ten episodes from the fourth season of the BBC drama series set in a failing inner-city comprehensive. Head teacher Rachel Mason (Eva Pope) returns ready to take on the challenges of a new school year, but is unprepared for the dangers that will face her and the entire school with the arrival of the Kelly family. Meanwhile hot new sports teacher Rob Cleaver (Elyes Gabel) joins the staff, Grantly Budgen (Philip Martin Brown) has separated from his wife and Steph Haydock (Denise Welch) has found happiness at last in the arms of the new school security guard.

The series begins well, as Rachel returns to her headship with a warm welcome from staff and students. From then on a rather unconvincing series of events unfolds: the school bends backwards to accommodate a disruptive family; a teacher whose life is tormented by that family ends up taking them into his home; the Chair of the Board admits to unethical practices in seeking to discredit that family further ...

At times the series works well. Rachel and Eddie are strong characters which make the series viewable, but it is let down by an unconvicing plot. Watch it, enjoy it, but don't expect to be convinced by it.

I think it is fair to say that this show is a little farfetched but if you like that as part of the show it is a good series and it is a very good price considering how many episodes are in each series. A must have for a fan of the show.

I have watched this show right from the beginning and it is one of the few that I can watch over and over again. If you've never seen any of this you can get into it whenever you like, but starting from S1 will give you the best chance.

I love waterlooroad. This was an intense season thanks to Earl Kelly and his horrible antics like Murder, Killing birds, Framing his brother and trying to sell his own baby but all of his attitude doesn't stop the sassy Steph Haydock.

One Word AMAZING Series 4 makes all other seasons look crap all the new chracters in this season tjust shake everything up especially the Kelly familly they have such a big impact on this season with the death of Max (Which i was crying for hours over) The Return of kim and her storyline is brill but the sadnes is everyone we have seen through WR for the last 4 years leave Clohe Donte Janeece Davina but it is still a great season and worth buying and cannot wait for series 5
