Synopsis

IN LOVING MEMORY is a British period comedy from the late 70s starring Thora Hird as the main lead, Ivy. Ivy’s husband, an undertaker, dies and she decides to take over the family business with her nephew Billy’s help. Unfortunately none of them are really experts in the field, circumstance that generates a funny string of unforeseen events. Features all the episodes from the second series.

I just love anything with Thora Hird in it, but the In Loving Memory series has to be the best. As an old classic this series is up there with the big ones such as Porridge, Open All Hours and Dad's Army. In Loving Memory episodes can be watched over and over again and still make you laugh even though you know what's coming next! I have bought both series 1 and 2 and am hoping there is a seris 3 available soon.

A great comedy of the 1970's , Lovely to see Thora Hird @ Christopher Beeny back together,what a pair they make, A great DVD , A joy to see @ watch, It's nice to see these classic comedy's of the 1970's making a comeback, don't get like this anymore, hope the entire series come's out, A wonderful series to watch!
