Synopsis

After cutting his teeth on a number of television projects for the BBC, director Gareth Carrivick makes his feature debut with this off-beat sci-fi comedy. A normal trip to the pub turns into anything but for a trio of mild-mannered blokes (Chris O'Dowd, Marc Wootan and Dean Lennox Kelly) when a woman from the future (SCARY MOVIES's Anna Faris) shows up and plunges them into a predicament involving space and time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth a watch....., 1 Oct 2009
By Libbie Witherden (Manchester, UK) - See all my reviews
Shaun of the Dead meets Doctor Who... that's a tall order for any film, especially a tiny budget, brit flick! And I personally think they lived up to it. A hilarious film, brilliant acting, superb dialogue and exceptional direction. The only problem I had - it was all over way too fast! Looking forward to the Sequel!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Whose round is it?", 7 Sep 2009
By pingli "pingli" (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
Gareth Carrivick's big screen directorial debut teams Marc Wootton (Shirley Ghostman, My New Best Friend, Marc Wootton Exposed), Dean Lennox Kelly (Shameless), and Chris O'Dowd (I.T. Crowd) as the three leads who, as Toby, Pete and Ray, try to unravel a time travel conundrum they stumble upon in the pub.
Strong writing from Jamie Mathieson and excellent performances from all of the cast including Meredith MacNeil and Anna Faris, make it a must-see for fans of the comedy and time travel film genres - brilliant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great film, 9 Oct 2009
By William Spence - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I hadn't heard anything about this film before I watched it and didn't have great expectations, but it turned out to be excellent. My only gripe with the film was that it was only 79 minutes long, although at least none of the time is taken up by redundant scenes. To get the most out of the humour you might need to have some understanding of the context, but the film definitely wouldn't be unfunny if you didn't.
