I bought this doll for my seven year old daughter who loves ballet and she adores it. I have seen reviews whereby people have complained that the doll does not move to the music (!) which is true, but my daughter loves putting her into the various ballet poses. It is well put together doll - whose joints move freely and gracefully. If you have a child who loves ballet they will love this. And so what if it doesn't move to the music - thats what the childs imagination is for!

Read the reviews on this doll and only one mentioned the packaging. It is a nice looking doll with a pretty face and I am a great believer in eco packaging but this doll arrived in a plain white box with labels stuck all over it and inside was the doll in a plastic bag and the dvd was just in a little cardboard sleeve. I bought it for a gift so could not give it in the box because of the address labels stuck on it. That aside, I think it is a great buy and I am sure my niece will not care about the fact that it isn't in a pretty box. I did see it on other web sites in completely different packaging so I don't know why this seller wouldn't be able to see it in the same packaging. Perhaps the price reflects that.

I bought this doll for my 6 yrs old daughter and she absolutely loves it! Beautifully made and does what is says - an excellent present for any girl who loves ballet!

This is the only birthday gift that my four year old still plays with every day a month on after her birthday. Very well and tastefully made - the doll and the clothes. You can really place into the ballet positions listed in the book due to the multiple joints. The DVD with real girls doing ballet was an added bonus. So a great value gift which packs a punch greater than its cost ( which in this day and age we find rare!).

I bought this for my almost 4 year old as she's just started ballet classes. It came in a normal box just as like any other doll. She's lovely and my daughter loves putting her into the poses. She also adores the CD that comes with it. A bit expensive at nearly £20 so if you can get it anywhere cheaper do so because you and your daughter will not be disappointed.

I bought this for my 3 year old niece who is learning ballet. I think the doll is great, as are the booklet and CD, and she does too. She loves doing 'good toes' 'naughty toes' on it. However I was a bit disappointed that it came in just a plain white box - I'm not one for excess packaging, but on opening the wrapping paper it was a bit boring just seeing a white box with a doll inside - it did make it look like a random doll you buy from a market stall. Is this why it is half price lol?

Bought this doll for my grandaughters 8th birthday. She loved it. She can move it into all the ballet steps that she's learnt at ballet school, and she was really happy with the CD that came with it, she's choreographing her own dance to it. The doll is very pretty and feels robust enough to take all the moving of arms and legs that it's going to get, even the feet move so that she can point her toes to "get the right lines", although the feet look very large compared to the rest of the doll. I would definately recommend this doll to anyone with a ballet mad little girl.

My 4 year old daughter asked Santa for this doll for Christmas, and when she received it she was over the moon.
The doll is well made and durable and she has had constant use from it.
She is one happy little girl.
