A wide-range of traditional Native American [Amerindian] woodwind instruments such as flute and panpipes, accompanied by deep resonant drumming and a range of rattles and percussion tools, at times, set against a rich backdrop of orchestral instruments. Stunning song and dance, all done with traditional Inca ceremonial costumes.
I first came across Abroalda on CD, then found their video clips on U-tube which moved me to buy the entire 2 DVDs [see Alborada Concert Vol. I] of this live concert - I'm so glad I did!
