I have all 4 series of After Henry, a charming programme which the whole family, of all ages, can enjoy. Fine acting from all the cast with gentle and subtle humour.

Not really my cup of tea, but I bought it for my wife Angela who enjoys this sort of thing.I also bought her some previous releases and she rates them all highly. Prunella Scales next best thing after Faulty Towers apparently. The only negative thing I would say is that Amazon list future releases and you can wait forever if you preorder like I did for this and for another release. So if buying as a gift make sure the estimated delivery date does not exceed the date the present is required for. Anyway that is more my fault than Amazons.

We have enjoyed the series 1 to 3 but found the 4th a little disappointing, not only in the number of episodes but in the content.
It looked as if it had run its course, as I don't think there could be any more that could be gained by another series.
Not in the same league as Fawlty Towers which will definitely be a classic for many years to come. Hence the 3 stars.
