With the funniest female actress at the helm, and a fantastic supporting cast, that this series is gonna make you laugh is a given. But also, you just can't help warming to Wendy Craig's character, the boys, Auntie, David Redway. By the end of the series, they feel almost like part of your own family. And that "will they, won't they" theme that pervades the series is addictive!

This was the 'penultimate' season in the hit comedy series 'And Mother Makes Three' before drifting quickly into 'And Mother Makes Five', and in this season, Sally Harrison (Wendy Craig) meets her new husband to be in 'David Redway' played by the handsome Richard Coleman.

Unlike most situations where children are involved and that would most certainly have been utilised in such a situation comedy as this, the children involved here do not 'resent' their parents re-marrying - but on the contrary; they encourage it which leads to some pretty funny story lines!

The jokes and laughs get a bit more 'racy' in this season when compared to the previous two - but then times were changing as we passed through the seventies! The episodes are just as funny.

Features a guest star appearance of Lally Bowers as 'Lady Redway'.

I remember this series from my childhood so of course it brings back great memories. They certainly made shows for the family to watch. Its great to see the fashions and the way life seemed a lot calmer but Wendy Craig is much better in Butterflies.
