Synopsis

Acclaimed director Takeshi Kitano's mid-1990s slapstick comedy GETTING ANY follows the exploits of Asao, a middle-aged man (Dankan), as he feverishly struggles to find a woman -- any woman -- with whom to have sex in a car. In his quest, which smacks of satire of popular film, Asao sells his grandfather's organs, acts in a Zatoichi film, and steals an armoured car!

I really wanted to like this film, because it is silly, and weird, and has cute topless girls in it. But I found that it was very amateurishly executed. It may have been on purpose, because apparently film maker is quite famous, and he says he is making fun of himself as a film maker. But it just did not work for me, sorry.
