Mac17871 appears to have reviewed the DVD, he has posted an identical review for both formats. I don't much disagree with what he says, this is a very enjoyable disc and whilst, as he implies, the audience does not go wild, there are a number of people favoured by the cameramen who are dancing, singing and air-guitaring. However for Blu-ray viewers I must add that the image is not sharp by Blu-ray standards; it is a nice enough image with rich colours against a dark background but is nearly all 'soft-focus'. Most of the cameras are quite a long way from the stage which will have presented problems with depth of field when attempting close ups. Similarly the audio available in both DTS HD MA and PCM 5.1 formats is good without being reference quality. I like the disc a lot, but it falls short of the best Blu-ray can offer, hence the loss of one star.

To all that really appreciate Latin music (and indeed music in general) Jose Feliciano is a true legend and many like myself have scratched around to find a DVD of Jose in concert. This is the first one to capture it in superb picture and 5.1 and Jose's performance is absolute first class. His talent and passion for his art remains undiminished and that shines through on every track here. The real eye opener for many will be Jose's fire and skill on the electric guitar on numbers such as Billie Jean, Higher Ground, Sunshine Of Your Love and a truly memorable Purple Haze complete with Star Spangled Banner riff which is almost worth the price of the DVD alone. If there was any downside at all it would not be with the production or indeed Jose's performance but the Paris club crowd are somewhat polite and there's a certain lack of atmosphere however this does not detract at all from what you see and hear on this excellent DVD.
If you love sublime guitar artistry and are aware of the name Jose Feliciano but wondered what he's all about apart from "Light My Fire" then buy this DVD, turn it up and get pleasantly surprised!!!!!!!!
