After the 6 instalment Vol 1 this issue containing 13 instalments is value both in size and quality. An absolute delight. Looking eagerly forward to Vol 3 coming out in April. After Henry was a wonderful series both on radio and TV.

You probably won't buy this if you are not already a fan, but if you do, you will be delighted.
Yes the 1980s production values are funny and yes the TV script was 'dumbed' down from the Radio 4 versions for an ITV audience, but it's still a gem and a must have for any After Henry fan.
What's more at 13 episodes, it's excellent value as well as a viewing treat.

I loved this sit com first on radio then on television and am so pleased to now have series 1,2,3 & 4 on DVD. They are not dated and have lost nothing over time but are still thoroughly enjoyable,funny and charming. Intelligent humour.
