Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

The Jonas Brother’s second album--2007’s Jonas Brothers--proved beyond doubt that the New Jersey trio can get beyond the Disney clichés and write songs of above average calibre. A Little Bit Longer, the band’s third outing, continues their harmonic forays into the teen-rock market, offering an upbeat selection of tunes notable for their catchy hooks, fuzzy guitars and bouncing grooves. Opener "BB Good" sets an energetic pace, kept up via songs like (first single) "Burning Up", the soaring "Tonight" and the sugar-coated punk of "One Man Show". Mellower moments come courtesy of the Jack Johnson-esque "Love Bug" and the title track, a song about Nick’s struggle with diabetes. A Little Bit Longer might not push particularly hard at the creative boundaries, but then no one expected it to. The Jonas Brothers remain the undisputed kings of highly polished, teen-friendly pop rock--until their formula starts to break, they surely don’t need to fix it. --Paul Sullivan

CD Description

'A Little Bit Longer' is the third full-length album from the Disney-associated sibling boyband the Jonas Brothers, andcaptures them in typically boyish and buoyant moods. Produced by John Fields (who has worked with the likes of Delta Goodrem, Jimmy Eat World and the Backstreet Boys), this release is full of soft-rock anthems, including the popular singles 'Burnin' Up' and 'Lovebug'. Elsewhere, they tackle weightier issues - the title track refers to Nick Jonas' struggle with diabetes. With the band's appearance in Disney's 'Camp Rock' movie, the release of 'A Little Bit Longer' sees them in international ascendancy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A little bit longer and I'll be fine..., 14 Oct 2008
By Izzy "Team Raver" (Somerset, England) - See all my reviews
This is the third album by the Jonas Brothers, and it definately does not dissapoint. All the tracks are extremely diverse, from the guitar laden openers "BB Good" and "Burnin' Up", to the slow-tempo closer "When You Look Me In The Eyes". Even the bonus track "Live To Party" introduces new sounds. Not one song sounds the same, and the range of influences and sounds is so eclectic that you'll find yourself listening to this album over and over again without getting bored at all.

It's definately an album to buy!!

5.0 out of 5 stars a little bit longer... and I'll be fine, 14 Aug 2009

This is my favorite Jonas brothers album to date and it will be tough for them to top! Oppening with the uptempo rift "BB Good" (I love the bits in the song when Joe is just talking... so cute) and never declining. There is not a song that is below excellence. This album really is a stroke of genius! Well what else can we expect from Kevin, Joe and Nick

My favorites have to be:
burnin up,
lovebug,
can't have you and
when you look me in the eyes

But the 2 stand out songs for me have to be sorry and a little bit longer

Sorry soley for Nicks amazing performance. The intensity and depth of his voice when singing this song gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it_ he is so talented.!.

A little bit longer literally blew me away! OMJ
Written by Nick Jonas this song is about Nicks struggle with diabetes (Type 1) and I actually cry every time I listen. It is so personal.

*Support change for the children*

Overall a CD I would recommend to anyone
I thoroughly believe that if it's good, it's good
and this is GOOD!
