Stormrise is a post apocalyptic real-time strategy game from Creative Assembly, the makers of Medieval II: Total War. Two warring factions arise from the rubble: the Echelon, a technologically advanced race that endured the planet's fallout by way of self-induced hibernation, and the Sai, a tribal society that adapted to the new apocalyptic environment and evolved over time. Players can command units in the air, across rooftops, on the earth's surface and even underground; this unique idea of "verticality" introduces multiple layers of gameplay that must be mastered for strategic advantage. Earth's protective atmosphere has been stripped away by a catastrophic event centuries ago. With both factions constantly battling for supremacy, the rebuilt civilisation is on the brink of another catastrophe...

When I first saw and heard about this game it sounded so promising. When I finished playing it after a mammoth session, i only had one thought. "What were they thinking?", and not in a good way either.
Real Time Strategy games (RTS) have never really worked on console, and sadly this is another failed attempt. The only really good things about this game are the presentation and the unique 'whip-select' control method. Sadly every other aspect of the game from graphics to sound to the diabolical AI is a real let down. Dont expect a Command & Conquer or even a Halo Wars. Because this game is not in the same ball park as either of those. Probably best to avoid this one. Maybe give it a rental to try it out. Unfortunately I hated it.

endwar is brilliant strategic game but stormrise is pethetic, the graphic are ok but the gameplay is worst than dynasty warriors 6 and valkary chronicles!!!

seriosly dont by this, take my advice waste of goddam money
