Smile Shutter
Smile Shutter is a highlight feature of the Cyber-shot range. Face Detection
A Cyber-shot with Face Detection makes ‘people pictures’ look their best. It quickly recognises the number of faces (up to 8) in the scene and automatically sets the best focus, exposure, white balance and flash settings to capture sharp faces with natural skin tones.
Intelligent Scene Recognition
Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) automatically detects five different types of scenes and selects the right exposure settings for each. In advanced mode, iSCN takes two pictures, allowing you to choose the one that looks best.

Dynamic Range Optimiser Standard and Plus
Dynamic Range Optimiser (DRO) Standard and Plus uses a sophisticated algorithm to determine the best exposure and contrast settings for almost any shooting environment. DRO is particularly effective when shooting backlit portraits or any scene with a dramatic contrast between background and foreground lighting.
