History The Ferrari F430 was introduced in 2004 to succeed the 360. It features a 4.3 litre V8 engine producing 360.4 kW (483 hp) at 8500 rpm and capable of a top speed of 317km/h (197 mph). The Scalextric Model The ‘Super Resistant’ rugged, light-weight bodies of the Ferrari F430 ensures hours of fun for the novice driver looking for durable cars as well as for the enthusiast who will appreciate the high top speeds of these pocket-rockets. This Digital Plug Ready (DPR) car can be converted for use with the Scalextric Digital range in under sixty seconds using the C8515 Digital Plug. The car features adjustable Magnatraction™ positions and easy change pick-ups. The light weight and durable body is designed to withstand the knocks of full impact endurance racing.

A great deal of Ferrari heritage is found in the car: at the rear, the Enzo's tail lights have been added, and that cars interior vents have been added to the F430 as well! The cars name has been etched into the outside of the Testarossa styled drivers side mirror as was previously done with the F40. The large oval openings in the front bumper are reminiscent of Ferrari racing models from the 1960s, specifically the "shark nose" Formula One car... The car is digital ready. This means that the cars can be used on standard Scalextric straight out of the box or converted for use on the Scalextric Digital system in just a few seconds, as you prefer!
