5.0 out of 5 stars Yes . . .at last!, 31 Oct 2008

Yes! This is the DVD version of the 35th Anniversary Tour that should have been. Yesspeak was interesting for the interviews with the group members but what about the set? It was disappointing to have to listen to it in audio only, albeit with still photos flashing up every so often. Now we have the full set in all its glory, with the interviews between songs not over them. Well done guys, we applaud you. And it was nice to have the Montreux concert while we waited. But now, relax and enjoy the wonderous music and wonderous stories woven together as they should be. Plus we get the (less wondrous?) Glastonbury set as a bonus - can't complain at all. But don't pay £20 for it as I did!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another gem from the masters of prog-rock..., 5 Dec 2008
By Now pay attention, 007 (Staffordshire, UK.) - See all my reviews
I was at the Birmingham NIA gig, so was really pleased when they announced this new "Directors' Cut" DVD. And it certainly doesn't disappoint... 35 years on and Yes are still an incredible live band - and this is arguably the definitive version of the band, complete with Rick (Wakeman) back on keyboards.

The track-list from the NIA concert includes:

1. Siberian Khatru
2. Magnification
3. Don't Kill The Whale
4. In The Presence Of
5. We Have Heaven
6. South Side Of The Sky
7. And You And I
8. To Be Over/Clap
9. Show Me
10. Rick Wakeman Solo
11. Heart Of The Sunrise
12. Long Distance Runaround
13. The Fish
14. Awaken
15. I've Seen All Good People
16. Roundabout

Sure, it's a pretty standard set and nothing Yes fans haven't seen before - but that's exactly what you want really from an anniversary tour. And the guys are all on top form here and really seem to be enjoying themselves...

The DVD also has their full set (10 songs) from Glastobury Festival the same year, plus various behind-the-scenes/interviews with the band in between various tracks. Simply put - if you are a Yes fan or just a fan of prog-rock music, you will LOVE this DVD!
