Product Description

Kinky sex and violence abounds in this sophisticated soft-core exploitation thriller. Carnal Crimes is the story of a twisted relationship between a prominent LA attorney and his lonely, bored wife. Elise, a former fashion model who lives a life of luxurious isolation, is pampered by a seldom-seen husband who finds his high-powered law practice more exciting than their marriage. Boredom drives her into a relationship with a freewheeling artist who soon after they begin their affair, persuades her to sleep with an assortment of different men. Elise figures out his sick game and dumps him, only to discover he has videotaped her sexploits and is threatening to tell her husband. Detectives inform her that they suspect the artist is a brutal serial killer which leads her to realise, that to enable him to get into S&M, her husband has masterminded the whole situation. Elise knows that to get her revenge, she must cooperate fully with the detectives.

Very disappointed with this film about an attractive(ish) woman who is not getting the attention she craves from her husband (is it ever any other way in these films?!!!?), so she goes looking for adventure and finds an artist she is attracted to. A twist in the plot occurs and like so many of these films a murder is involved in the 'erotic' story. The end result was a film that was low on erotica and thrills and appeared more interested in violence towards women, as all the women in the film took a severe beating in some way. The scene that killed this film for me was the scene where she is watching the artist having his way with one of his muses outside his loft window, while at the same time she is being sexually assaulted by a homeless vagrant rapist. There was nothing thrilling about it and to be honest the looks of the women actresses weren't up to much and the film just seemed to drag on and on.
A better film that is worth a look (unlike this) is Voyeur starring Shauna O'Brien. That film actually succeeds in being both interesting and erotic.
Psychologically speaking those who are turned on by the rape theme should perhaps seek some form of psychiatric therapy.

I truly enjoyed this film. I love the story of a young wife and older man and the sexual problems it can create. This gos even further in that when she can no longer hold back her frustraions and takes a lover in the form of an artist. There were good sex scenes and I did like the story, especially the twist in the end. One littles thing in the film I tought was a bit much was to se her climb a fire escape in a short skirt and heels just to get her bit. I suppose they thought it was erotic. Personally speaking I can't see too many women doing that, no matter how frustrated they are. Overall though, it was a very entertaining film and I was glad I purchased it.

One of the classical erotic movies you can't forget. Linda Carol's beauty is one very good reason to get this movie.

a guilty pleasure ; the acting is terrible , the script laughable at times , the hair big , the clothes worth a comedy award in there own right . Welcome to late night soft porn thriller . The plot is actually quite good and I did actually enjoy the terribleness of it all [ think Falcon crest but with nudity ] .
