An excellent album full of variation from the cheerful pop of "Beat Control" to the more cut-down rock of "Pot Kettle Black" and on through accoustic stylings of "Tall Tall grass". Everything is tied together beautifully.

Probably one of the best albums of 2008.

Tilly and the Wall are a low key band with an alternative sound that is slightly kooky and fun. Instead of having a drummer this band uses various stomps, claps and finger clicks etc to create the percussion and this makes for a unique and interesting listening experience. They reminded me of The Dodos in places and if you like that band then it is a pretty sure bet that you'll like this one. This is a short album but each song is well crafted and this makes for just over half and hour prime listening. My personal favourites are `Beat Control' which is a great way to end any album and `Dust Me Off` has an infectious groove that keeps me pressing repeat, but the whole album has some solid tracks on it. Worth a look if you enjoy good music that isn't afraid to be different.

Since the beginning I have been enthralled by the innovation and exhilleration of Till and the Wall's music and their third album did not dissapoint me. It starts with the uncharacteristically mellow yet nonetheless enjoyable "Tall Tall Grass", but as soon as the first track draws to a close the band don't hesitate to engulf the listener in their trademark thumping rhythms and aggressive vocals, sung with such a sweet voice, in "Pot Kettle Black". This version of the album contains the bonus track "Beat Control" which is a welcome addition with it's catchy tune and interesting style. This is a great album for any alternative music fan.
