Synopsis

Holby Blue is a snapshot of policing post 9/11. With the ‘war on terror’ affecting home soil, the challenges facing the police officers and CID unit of Holby South are very different to those of the traditional ‘bobby on the beat’. One of the best and most riveting drama series I have ever seen. Watched all 458 minutes (approx) in 2 nights. I just had to carry on - I was hooked. The cast were excellent, their acting top notch. The story lines are very well written, and you feel as if you are actually there. I love The Bill, but this takes top spot. Come on BBC, roll on some more series - I'll be the first to watch and buy the DVD's and books, (if any get published). In a nutshell - BRILLIANT! Not to be missed!

Ok, so the 5 star rating is for the first episode, as i managed to miss the rest of the first series somehow, so im going to give it a shot on DVD. At least this Holby show gets a DVD, (come on BBC give us series 4 of Casualty, and at least one DVD of Holby City).

amazingly realistic felt as if I was in the police car with them- Handcuff yourself to the sofa and dont bail out- or youre going down!!!!!
