Video Description
A wry comedy feature about whether to have a baby or not. Sasha, a cartoonist, can't decide whether she wants a baby, with girlfriend, Maya. She invents two straight scenarios - because she presumes they have it easier. She's wrong, the three stories start to collide and mistakes happen.

Synopsis
Sasha and Maya are a lesbian couple who dream of becoming parents. But, in this dramatic comedy, they first have to come to terms with the problems in their relationship and also decide the best way to become pregnant.

I wasn't expecting to see such a funny Britflick (few are these days) when I picked up this DVD. It was the praise heaped on the film (the blurbs on the back of the box) that convinced me to check it out, and I'm glad I did. It isn't so much a romantic comedy as a biting commentary on the life paths of several London women. The cast all slip into their roles with ease, and the central characters, a pair of lesbian women who would like a baby together, are a treat to watch. Some of their lines really are funny, and the awkward bed talk a lot of these characters have is something a lot of us can relate to.

A very British, very original film that I highly recommend!

Why do I always believe the praise given by others. I had high hopes for this movie but was let down and wished that I had saved my money.

If I hadn't have already given up trying to watch another "odd" movie, then this would have ended up not being watched as well. Very dry, always waiting for it to get better - it didn't! Some of the plot is not very well explained and some of the acting is quite "wooden" and stilted. The ending is very sudden and you'll never know the outcome of the events in the film. You'd be better off watching Imagine Me And You [2006], Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit [1990]which is fab, or Sugar Rush Series 1 And 2 [2005]
