5.0 out of 5 stars Rocking Rock 'n Roll as it should be, 28 Jul 2008
If you like up-tempo Foo-fighter-esque Rock then this is exactly what your after, They haven't broken down any barriers here but have added another piece to the rock jigsaw puzzle, great for the ipod down the gym.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cahir Jetplane has a day job!, 28 Mar 2008
Cahir of Jetplane Landing fame finally delivers a full albums worth of songs with his band Fighting With Wire. I heard of these guys when their track Cut The Transmission appeared on a Public Service Broadcast compilation a few years back. Suitably impressed, I bought this album a and it's been well worth the wait...

The album is one of the best rock records in recent years. It's chock full of tight playing and some great riffs, however there are several moments of, dare I say it, pop perfection. Cahir certainly knows how to write a chorus! Single Everybody Needs a Nemesis is brilliant, as is the melodic Sugar, and on the likes of My Armoury, the band take things up a notch with some huge riffs.

Much like the very excellent LostAlone debut from last year, this is hopefully the emergence of another great new rock band. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Monster without a doubt!, 3 Jul 2009
This is one of the finest albums to come out from any UK rock act in a long time. It's fresh, punchy, full of aggression, but not over the top so you can't sit back and enjoy it! Cahir, Craig and Jamie work perfectly together to create edgy but unbelievably tight tracks that have left a lot of the other UK rock bands I'm into sounding little dull and flat (Hundred Reasons new stuff for example).

This is awesome and is a real treat to find!
