With its exceptional image sensing capability, the 1/2.5" large CCD with its exceptional image sensing capability delivers clear, detailed pictures with superior realism for both video and stills.

JVC's oversampling, both horizontally and vertically, adds multiple pixels together to concentrate the image for superior sensitivity.

Internal high-capacity HDD allows extremely long recording times. With the 60GB model, you can store up to 75 hours of video.

You can choose the picture quality from our modes, from high-quality video equivalent to DVD movie to small-sized clip ideal for uploading to the Web.

Floating suspension and gravity sensor systems safeguard the hard disk drive from shocks, vibration and drops.

Laser Touch Operation

The scroll bar and buttons are touch sensitive, so you just glide your finger up or down the bar to choose the menu items while its cool blue light follows your movements. You don't touch the LCD screen itself, so it won't get dirty or smudged. No fingerprints.

Image Stabiliser

The built-in digital image stabiliser effectively compensates for "camcorder-shake", enabling stable image shooting.

Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)

Our OIS system compensates "camcorder shake" effectively without any of the quality loss associated with digital image stabilisation systems.

More storage and easy transfer with microSD

Everio™ has a microSD card slot, so you can store video and stills on both the built-in HDD and a commonly available memory card (not supplied). Copy video and stills from the built-in HDD to the microSD card and vice versa - sharing has never been easier.

Note: to record video, a microSDHC card with Class 4 or higher performance is required. microSD memory cards (256MB to 2GB) and microSDHC memory cards (4GB) have been tested for the following brands: Panasonic, Toshiba, SanDisk and ATP. Note that using other media may result in recording failure or data loss. For compatibility of memory cards, please consult an authorised JVC dealer.

Auto Illumi. Light

Turns on automatically so you can shoot brilliant images even in low light situations (7Mega model is equipped with Auto Flash).

Gigabrid Engine

6 digital noise reduction systems improve the S/N ratio by about 30% (3dB) over previous models, while the integrated MPEG-2 encoder helps reduce block noise and mosquito noise. It's assurance that all of those gigabytes of video and photos you shoot will offer the best picture quality available for each recording mode.

2.7" LCD with Auto Backlight Control

Automatically adjusts brightness of the LCD backlight for comfortable viewing whether indoors or outdoors.

Pre-set Picture Titles

When viewing or burning a DVD, you can insert a Picture Title pre-installed in the camcorder. With a wide selection of professionally-designed title images, you can easily transform your footage into a professional looking video - without a PC!

Direct DVD

With an optional SHARE STATION, you can easily create a DVD-Video disc from Everio™ recordings. Just press the DIRECT DVD button, and the DVD burning process starts automatically.

Direct Back-Up

Data archiving has never been simpler. Just press the DIRECT BACK UP button, and data that has not yet been backed up can be automatically transferred to PC.

Digital-to-digital dubbing via i.LINK

The DV Out terminal (i.LINK, IEEE1394) on the Everio™ Dock enables easy digital dubbing to an external DVD/HDD recorder as well as transferring data to a computer for advanced non-linear editing using third-party software.

Data Battery

Easily view remaining battery and recording time at the touch of a button.

Everio™ includes patented and other proprietary technology and is made to be used with the JVC data battery and not with other batteries.
