The picture quality and depth of contrast is great for a 15" screen that currently hangs on a wall bracket in the dining room.
Despite a multitude of buttons on the remote control (most will never be used) it is relatively easy to navigate the menus and is a breeze to set up.
Sound quality is also very good, there should be no need to add external speakers and stereo is effective.
Of course, the major benefit with this type of set is the ability to slide in a DVD at the side and run your movies. After a couple of months use, I have found no major faults and you should be able to pick it up for a lot less than the list price - mine was reconditioned for less than half the price and does the job well.
