Pretty good stuff from alternative New Zealand city on the edge of the world, Dunedin. I reckon you tend to get good bands from here because the weather tends to rain and theres not too much else to do but its also quite like california at the same time what with the surf and the beach. Pretty serious stuff this the guy has had some girl difficulties and lets you know about it, sometimes a bit too much a few of the lyrics being a bit painful but on the whole the stampeding drums and rumbling bass save the day and youve got the awesome tune 'sideways here we come'. I wonder if this this is taken slightly off another Dunedin band the legendary 'Clean' who are like the NZ Velvet Undergroud, Television and Stooges rolled into one, hhhmmmmmmm, dunno maybe. Oh yeah and there better then 'The Death Set' whom the NME will probably club them with in with in their next 'life changing' scene.
