Synopsis
After sleeping with Charlie (Dane Cook), many women find true love, later swearing their brief encounters with Charlie were what brought them good luck. I watched this the other night with my hubby and we roared with laughter! My husband is not one of those guys who will laugh at your American Pies very easily so I was pleasantly surprised when I found him with tears running down his face.

It tells the story of Charlie, (Dane Cook), who while playing spin the bottle at a kids birthday party, finds himself stuck in the closet with the local goth girl. She demands to see his penis and when he refuses she puts a hex on him so that in all his future realtionships, the girlfriend will leave him and find true love and marriage with the next guy she meets.

Twenty years or so later, we meet up with Chuck who is now a dentist. His best friend from school is the fat disgusting type who talks about sex and boobs more than anything else, and is a cosmetic surgeon who specialises in breast augmentation. Charlie finds himself at yet another old flame's wedding when he meets Cam, (Jessica Alba), a clumsy yet beautiful girl. He realises that all his ex girlfriends are getting hitched, or have already done so, with the next guy they met after being with him.

As Charlie falls deeper and deeper in love with Cam, (after he had to persuade her that the rumours about him weren't all true!), he realises that if he sleeps with her, he will lose her to the next guy she meets, so he tries to delay that moment for as long as possible. With some help from his friend, he does a little experimenting to see if the hex is real. Amidst all of his paranoia he doesn't realise that he's pushing Cam further away from him by being too over possessive.

There are some truly hilarious moments in here and quite simply there are too many to mention. If you like the American Pies, Van Wilders and Road Trips, then this is the film for you. There's plenty of eeew factor aswell as awww. And there's even some penguin love too. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be re-watching it soon.

Another 1 hour 45 mins of my life I will never get back. I thought I was getting a romantic comedy that I could enjoy with my wife, but what I got was a purile semi-soft porn film perporting to be a comedy. All the standard teenage unsophisticated humour that Americans find funny, are in this film. It seems if you mention penis or breasts enough in an American film you assurred of a laugh and they go for a lot of laughs in this one. My, how my sides ache. I'm sure this will appeal to someone, but if your not a yank or a 13 year old boy, don't bother !!

Awful! Worst film of the year or last four years I think it's the worst film since I watched Glitter with Mariah Carey in. Complete utter rubbish everyone watching the film new the complete plot after ten minutes of the film, incredibly insulting to any one with half a brain cell, very sexist the portrayal of female characters that didn't have big breasts and a bikini on was that they were all monsters, oh and ` you know what all woman want most of all? To get married' is this film really from this century? The characters lacked any credibility even for a comedy film it was sooo poor I never want to see anything with anybody from that film in again. Unless you're a bloke who is looking for a bit of cheap American porn including someone with three breast who likes to take her top off I d avoid at all costs and I begrudge even giving it one star.
