5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant, simple phone, 23 Oct 2007
The clue is in the name "FONE" - it's just a phone. It's really easy to use, well made, the battery life is good, it is very lightweight, the speakerphone is loud, it has an alarm clock and it looks quite smart. Yes, texting is a bit poor, but at least the large characters are easy to read.. and you can read the screen in direct sunlight, no matter how bright it is. It's the kind of phone that will stand up to a bit of abuse, and if it breaks.. well, get another one.

4.0 out of 5 stars simple but good, 10 Dec 2007
By James E. Cameron - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Incredibly simple to make calls, great clear sound, good speaker phone mode, long battery life. Don't buy if you send text messages though, the simplified screen make those difficult.

Do not buy from Pixmania_UK. they supply an EU spec which breaks when used in the UK and is not covered by manufacturers warranty. Customer service terrible too, avoid. Pay more for a genuine UK model.

5.0 out of 5 stars a basic phone at a giveaway price, 29 Dec 2007

(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
I purchased this phone for my daughter who simply phones and texts her friends. She isn't interested in all singing and all dancing gadgets. We wanted her to carry a cheap phone to keep in touch but not carry something that would attract would-be thieves. At this price,if it gets stolen or lost,it's not a huge issue. The phone is a delight to use,it's very lightweight and pleasant on the eye.Quality for the price is great and i would recommend this phone to everybody who is looking for a basic phone.
