Video Description

While investigating the mysterious death of his beloved wife, Matt Trakker uncovers an international organization knows as Venin, dedicated to nefarious criminal activities in every corner of the world. Driven by his quest to know the truth, he gathers together a number of friends who possess extraordinary talents and creates M.A.S.K. Their objective: to destroy Venin and it's mastermind, Miles Mayhem.

First time release in the UK, covering the first 38 episodes of a 75 episode series.



Synopsis

M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) is the tactical fighting unit led by Ted Trakker on a mission to protect mankind from the evil unit, known as VENOM (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem).

Combining all the best elements from Transformers (shape-changing vehicles), Thunderbirds (international team of crime-fighters) and Batman(billionaire with tragic back-story becomes action-hero) M.A.S.K. is never anything less than entertaining (and a toy merechandiser's dream-come-true!)

With a large rotating cast of regular characters (good guys and bad guys) amazing vehicles and specially armed combat-helmets, M.A.S.K. is a visual treat and lots of ludicrous fun.

Criminally underrated... I can't believe this hasn't received the big-screen, live-action treatment yet. It's crying out for a film franchise.

p.s. the toy range was truly superb, check them out on Ebay.

At last it's got a proper release. So overlooked as a bit of a classic...love the cover art too, very different to the sort of stuff you normally see, it actually looks like someone spent quite a bit of effort putting this together. Big up to Maximum Entertainment and here's hoping they do Volume 2 to complete the series. I'm off to watch the whole 12 hours!

If you love cartoons with an action adventure feel then this is for you. The animation still looks great even today, and it has a fantastic over-the-top theme tune.
