My Raleigh Oakland Ladies 16" Frame Bike is now together and works great, I really like the bike. My review is because there are three things I wanted to flag to anyone thinking of buying this bike:
1) The handlebars need to be professionally fitted, to buy a spanner yourself is VERY expensive. I did not know that really you should ask a bike shop to construct this bike for you completely, I wouldn't do it yourself unless you really know what you are doing and have all the right bits.
2) My bike did not come with the right building bits - the allen key provided didn't fit, I had to use one I already had at home.
3) The bike I recieved was red, not white as detailed here (I'm not fussed about the colour but you might be.

I think the lady who wrote the first review must just have been unlucky, I had no problem assembling the bike with the tools provided, the only tool I had to provide myself was an alun key to tighten the front brake.
My bike also is red which actually looks smarter than the white, mine also has a couple of additions not mentioned in the ad, a bell and a chain guard.
Delivery was very fast and all in all I am delighted with my purchase, an excellent bike, highly recommended.

My mum got this bike and there is a little self assembly. Not sure why the people are discussing a white bike with 18 speeds. Must of been a previous option. Anyway although its a little heavy its a great cheap sturdy bike.
