Product Description
Alas! Poor Ali Baba! He was a humble man, a woodcutter by trade, and quite content until this 'Open Sesame!' business. But he had to stumble upon the Exactly Forty Thieves [no more, no less], who were a bit too successful for their own good. And then there was that enchanted cavern full of untold wealth, except that the magic seemed to leak out a bit here and there, with formidable consequences, one of which concerned Ali Baba's ne'er-do-well brother, Kassim. And then there was Kassim's lovely and amazingly desirable wife - well, Ali Baba tried not to think about Kassim's wife. Still, were these the only difficulties, Ali Baba might not have complained, but we have not yet begun to discuss the hideous repercussions of the Greater Desert Caravan Redistribution Programme or the fateful moments within the Palace of Beautiful Women. And of course there are those bothersome characters Sinbad and Aladdin, who seem to ahve wandered in from other stories altogether! There is no escaping it, Ali Baba must make difficult choices upon the path of life, which leads either to fabulous wealth or great deprivation, a life of intense sensual pleasure or a life ended with an executioner's axe. There are nothing but problems. Truly it is a bad day for Ali Baba.
