    At the price it's at, it is great. It is just frustrating that the remote control doesn't control the volume; nor the radio; nor even the power on/off !!! Be warned ! The remote only controls track selection on the CD, or MP3 playback (though I haven't tried this out fully).
    It's compact, neat, cheap... but I think a bit misleading when the manufacturer's description includes "bang up-to-date" - I can't find anybody who has ever heard of a remote control not controlling the volume !

    Forget the rubbish remote, that's not the main problem. This unit is just cheap and nasty overall. Pros:

    * It's reasonably compact
    * Simple to use
    * Cheap

    Cons:

    * Sound quality (or rather lack of it)
    * Build quality is highly variable you'll probably end up taking the first couple back
    * Miniature LCD display is difficult to read and not particularly informative
    * Crude radio tuning. If you need to find anything less powerful than Radio 2, forget it

    Cheap, nasty switchgear which will probably not last long before the contact go and the speakers are so light you will need to Blutack them down to stop them floating away. Sound quality is minimal. Spend a few bob more and buy something of higher quality, Sony, Panasonic, Pure - ANYTHING but this.

    Oh, yes, the most ridiculous remote ever that doesn't have a volume control on it! Gets 2 stars only because it's so cheap!
