Product Description

Van Wilder is the king of the campus at Coolidge College and everything seems perfect until his father shows up at the start of his seventh year of college and declares that he's not paying Van's tuition any longer. Now, Van must use everything he's learned to raise money to pay for his tuition while still maintaining his heightened status. A disenfranchised journalist decides to expose Van for the fraud that he is, but instead, she starts to fall in love with him.

Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) might be starting his seventh year at Coolidge College, but graduation is the furthest thing from his mind. Armed with a personal assistant and a coterie of admirers, Van has reached the status of living legend on campus, throwing bashes that make geeks popular, raise money for charity and generally "inspire the uninspired." But when Van's father refuses to pay any more of his son's tuition bills, Van must turn to party planning for profit in order to continue living in under-graduate bliss, thereby becoming the subject of an exposé by disapproving school journalist Gwen Pearson (Tara Reid). What begins as a clash of wills, however, soon leads to unexpected romance as Van and Gwen both realize they have a lot to learn from each other. The only problem: Gwen's self-obsessed, frat house boyfriend, Richard, who's determined, at any cost, to put a stop to Van's rule as campus king. This movie is the funniest movie i've seen for a long time and is definately a MUST HAVE TO SEE MOVIE.

A fantastic, lighthearted, laugh fest. This film won't win any oscars but the cast carry off an hilarious script to perfection.

I must have seen this more than 20 times and i still find it hilariously funny. It's rude, crude and any lover of pop culture comedy (American Pie, etc) will love it.

I haven't seen this film in years so I had to purchase it , I love Ryan Reynolds sense of humour he has me in stitches .
I am currently watching this film while writing the view , it shows his charming yet witty sense of humour but also shows he has feelings too , a must watch indeed

From the moment I started watching this film I was in stitches and didn't stop until way after it was finished. For sheer entertainment and one liners this has to be the best teenage comedy around. The main characters do the parts justice (Ryan Reynolds is hilarious and Tara Reid is obviously stunning) but special mention has to be given to Taj who has one of the best speeches I have ever heard in a film. The speech is quality and had me going for ages. But that is just one of the many ridiculously funny moments in the film which are too many to list. Anyone who likes college comedy this film is most certainly for you. This film really is quality.

I love this film, I have seen it multiple times and I never fail to chuckle at the all the jokes, and cringe in certain places, this is a must have for any comedy fan!

What a film!! From start ('Suk Me' doing a great job) to finish this has all you'd want/expect from the US teen market. A film you can watch over and over again and the jokes are still funny!
Ryan Reynolds very funny, Tara Reid looking great and with Taj the bumbling, comic, 'innocent' sidekick - a must see film
