Do allow me to start this review with the statement that I am utterly shocked that this album, 2 years after its release has no reviews on this site.

Portugal. The Man have created an incisive and catchy album, with a rock reminiscent to Led Zeppelin in some moments, however displaying a huge amount of know-how by achieving a contemporary feeling to the tracks despite those similarities. The tempo contrast between some of the tracks combine beautifully, creating a "feel good" and even sensual feeling that I haven't felt in an album of this genre in quite some time.

So basically, if you're looking for a catchy/fun indie-rock album with a touch of 60's rock this is for you.
