It seems this is the first review of the 'Hoof' on amazon.For the uninitiated the 'Hoof' are a band featuring the bass player of doom metal overlords cathedral and his brother and seven or eight of his mates.They look a bit like a glam rock version of slipknot.
The sound is a kind of mutant disco doom weirdy suqiggly diddly sort of thing if you catch my drift.Imagine black sabbath caught in a lift with rhiannah and new young pony club.I hope that clears thing up a bit.

This is their best album so far. I'm really looking forward to their next one. Their sound is pretty psychadelic and it has a huge mix of different influences from metal, prog, space, disco, trance, classical/compositional, medi-eval, jazz to funk but - over all this - they maintain their own crazy and individual outlook on what good music is. Big respect to these guys. Contains synthesisers, guitar/s, a cello, trumpets, drums, cool female vocals and many other strange manners of sounds. This is the most varied of all ther albums so far and the sound quality is also far superior.
