this is a brilliant little mixer, and i think for the price it is amazing, other mixer are in the hundred pound mark and do just the same job.
this you dont need your hands, but at the same time, if you want to take it off the stand you can.
which in my eyes makes it more usefull than your normal mixer.
if you use just the one prong you can even throth up hot choclate with it lol.

This is an excellent hand mixer, but I found the stand useless. The beaters must be half an inch above the bottom of the provided mixing bowl, so the bottom of the mixture does not mix.
However, it is worth buying just for the mixer which is really good.

As I said this is value for money,neat and comact.Bowl could soon wear out & you can't use any bowl sadly.It is VERY noisy!!But that really isn't too much of a problem.
The mixer is VERY fiddly to fit onto the stand ( I can see me braking it in pure desperation!!)easier to use without stand..which can be inconvenient.
The slowest speed is still too fast,especially when compared to the kenwood I had before.All in all its fine for the money,but I wish I'd paid a tad more for a kenwood..my old faithful..always brilliant!
