Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Exclusive to PSP, Crush is an altogether new concept in multi-dimensional puzzle gameplay. Trapped in a life most difficult, our pyjama-clad hero has found himself tormented by worry and mental strife. He's a nervous wreck, plagued by sleepless nights that leave him too tired to turn his life around. A good night's shuteye has become as elusive as a dream. But it is in a bizarre, dreamy vision that our unlikely adventurer is given one last hope; a very strange opportunity to sort through the wreckage of his mind and restore his sanity, along with his sleep. Puzzle your way across 40 brain-twisting levels, exploiting a brilliantly surreal ability to switch perspectives from 3D to 2D to conquer your challenges. Changing your perspective on things will do more than alter your view; shift platforms and objects, activate machinery, cause immense chain reactions in the environment and overcome your enemies - it's all in the power of perspective.

5.0 out of 5 stars Twisted pleasure!, 2 Jun 2007

This game is the most satisfying puzzle game I have ever played. The switching from 2D to 3D game play with movement in every conceivable plane leaves you feeling slightly dizzy. It requires patience and lateral thinking. So if your trying to hone your skills at thinking outside the box then this game is for you. I love it!! It has an equally cool twisted story line as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Destined to be legendary..., 30 Jun 2007
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
My guess is that Crush will be up there with Kula World for puzzle stardom soon enough.

The idea is to find your way to the exit, collecting marbles and other bits and pieces along the way. Without certain marbles, the exit stays closed so you have to find them to get out. Not only is the idea of crushing the puzzle from 3D to 2D interesting, it's brilliantly executed too. I'm about half way through the game now and am for the moment, stuck! Once you've got your head around the 2D/3D changeable environment, the designers then throw timers and moving/collapsing blocks in the mix and this is where it gets truly mind bending. One early level took over an hour and a half to complete though you can switch the hints on for more rapid progress. Personally, I like the challenge without them.

If you like puzzle games that make you think and aren't too frantic (though it can get pretty busy) then Crush is an excellent and unique title that you really should consider owning. Love it:-)

5.0 out of 5 stars I bought a PSP just for this game!, 29 Jan 2008

My first experience with a PSP was 10 minutes of Crush..... I was sold! Already had a Wii (bit childish), a PS2 (don't turn that on just for the odd 10 minutes here or there) and a daughter with a DS, and I really do not consider myself a gamer AT ALL. Love gadgets though and in that respect the PSP controls win hands down (haha) from tapping a screen with a fiddly stylus.... But - back to the game: my PSP came with 2 other games that I haven't even touched yet - guess that proves my point of not being that much of a gamer as well as the enduring pull of Crush. In short: if you like puzzle-y games rather than just downright racing or fighting, Crush will amuse and amaze you. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Enjoy!
