This album falls between a bunch of stools, for me. It's got acoustic elements and wistful male vocals, fair helpings of electronic squelches and some relentless kick drum. It's not quite electro, not quite trance, not quite pop, not quite chill- it's somewhere inbetween those four things. Not bad, some lush sounds. Call me mainstream maybe but there weren't enough hooks or stand-out tracks that made me want to go back and listen to them again. It's a "nice" album but not essential.
