This film deserves 3 stars but I am giving it 5 to balance some stupid and unfair reviews.
Curfew is not bad. Yes, the action, direction, editing etc is pretty average but it's better than a lot of b films out there. It is violent but not in an overly gratuitous way.
Wendell Williams (I think that's his name) is not bad as Ray...sure he does not have Christopher Walken's air of menace and psychoticality but he does a fair job.
Lots of people are killed and there is the teener in distress (or this dress!)
Overall not a bad film and worth getting for a penny.
The picture quality is good and the aspect ratio looks right and the alpha gain symmetry of the vertical contex is just about right.
Give Curfew a go, I enjoyed it and you may also like it.

'Curfew' is a typically trashy B movie horror that you'll never want to watch again - only because it really is BAD! I'm just glad that I only picked it up on DVD for a pound, even though I still felt robbed.

It really isn't like me to rate a movie one star at all, but this low-budget 1989 'Horror' is up there with one of the worst I've ever seen. It's a tasteless film with a bad plot.

After breaking another one of her curfews, a teenage girl returns home to danger. Two 'scary' brothers have also come out of prison with revenge on their minds. However, the revenge scenes are really lame and the acting is unbelievably wooden. Avoid it!

Coincidently, 'Curfew' was banned from the UK for a number of years, apparently because it was deemed to be so violent that it suffered with censorship and certification problems. However, I would have been fooled into believing that it was banned purely because it's a complete turd.

Just what I expected. Very low budget, probably no-more than £100 spent making it.
Read film description; it sounds crap and it is just that but also hugely entertaining...

...for being completely boring! Sometimes the BBFC amaze me, than ban tripe like this, bad plot, bad acting, bad special effects, for me nothing in this movie warrants it getting banned! Other than the aforementioned.

If you are a film student and you wish to know how not to make a horror movie, then this is a prime example for your studies. If we could rate in the minuses, there wouldn't be a number of stars low enough for my rating of this hack movie!

The film is badly acted and it is badly filmed if you want to get this film my advise would be go and buy a tub of paint and paint your wall abd watch it dry it would be more exciting.
