Having had the pleasure of hearing a good chunk of this album already I have to say that Sparta have managed to effectivly combine the anguish of Wiretap Scars succesfully with the grandeur of Porcelain and in my opinion have delivered their greatest album.
A beautifully crafted work that hammers emotional sincerity with a poetic vision.
BUY!

really good album once it gets it's claws into you there's no going back! I agree with the other reviewer, it does sound like a hard rockin U2 at points but i hate u2 and love this! anyway just buy it, go do it you know you wnat to!

Whilst it's obvious that Sparta are having a concerted attempt to catch the ears of a wider audience this time round, they've achieved a sound which undeniably suits them to a tee. It's still all huge bombast, and rousing scream-along choruses but this time round with a new-found anthemic pop approach, which sounds scarilly like how U2 could have sounded if they had tried much harder back round the time of "War". (Now, a comparison such as that may be a little offputting for some, but take my word for it - It needn't be).
Songs such as "Erase it again" to these ears are strong enough to appeal to capture the hearts of an audience as wide as "Teen Spirit".
Brave, but succesful.
