Along with the Bad Livers, Hayseed Dixie is the world's foremost country band devoted to covering hard-rock songs in classic bluegrass style--their discography includes albums of material by AC/DC and Kiss. WEAPONS OF GRASS DESTRUCTION doesn't find these hard-rocking pickers and grinners any more sedate. Far from it. Instead the boys take on assorted classics by the Sex Pistols, the Beatles, Judas Priest, the Rolling Stones, and others, plucking up a serious, head-banging storm. It's a silly good time any way you slice it.

Another great mix of rock (and now disco) covers and original songs all in the unique Hayseed Dixie style.

If you've ever been kept awake wondering how the Scissor Sisters or the Sex Pistols would sound if they'd be born a bunch of no-good, drinking, fighting, mountain dwelling moonshiners armed with banjos, mandolins and fiddles then this is the album that can give you the answer.
