Was attracted to the music of Loney Dear after reading some positive reviews of his previous album 'Sologne'..and being a sucker for lush scandanavian pop thought i'd sample it. Loved it and caught them live shortly after....what can I say?...completely enchanted...best gig Ive seen for some time - and I see a LOT of gigs. I then heard Loney Noir' and Ive been completely smitten ever since. How can I describe it?..Scandanavian Surf?..Dream Folk?...the beautiful harmonies certainly have echoes of Brian Wilson..whilst some of the almost symphonic anthems put one in mind of Sigur Ros - in a lighthearted mood, sharing a studio with Sufjan Stevens....whatever, its a glorious, mood lifting collection of superb songs, hooks, chorus's and angelic vocals. With luck and justice 2007 will be a Loney Dear year

Listened to I am John a freebie on I tunes and was hooked,a really catchy tune,so decided to buy the album,Brian Wilson lives, this is superb,not a duff track and you will certainly be missing a musical treat if you do not buy this it's Great Great Great
