Crikey....this is hard music to describe in terms of anything you've heard before since you've not likely to have heard much like it before

It's kind of alternative country music but with a heavy, dark gothic twist. From what I can make out of the lyrics, there is strong religious iconography. Maybe if you think of the sort of music they might play at a haunted fairground or circus trapeze act combined with the music from Oh Borther Where Art Thou crossed with a red-neck Julian Cope on vocals you might be onto something.

It's a live recording and all the better for it. It's mostly acoustic with some strange combinations of instruments and bizarre vocal affectations.

It's definately worth buying just to hear it. It kind of plays on your mind.
