5.0 out of 5 stars Lily the Elephant night light, 6 July 2007
By Ice Princess (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This is a fantastic and safe light for your little ones.
It gives off a warm glow and actually becomes your childs night time buddy.
It can be placed in the bed with them for extra security and NEVER gets hot. It runs for 8 hours (at least) before it needs pluging back in to charge up.
We have tried lots of night lights previous to this one and they were either to bright or not bright enough.
WE LOVE IT !!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute and small, 29 Dec 2007

I spent ages deciding which design to get for my son - the others seem more girly. once it arrived I was very pleased with the dog, it's very cute. It's smaller than I thought it would be. My son is 3 and I wanted something that he could have as reasurance in case he woke up. He loves it. I find the light quite bright ( would have prefered something more dimmer) and that it changes colour too quickley. But all in all does the job and my son thinks it is great.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ridiculously over-priced, 13 Sep 2008
By C. Bond (South UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This little panda looks very cute and his glowing tummy is very comforting and gives a good level of light for a little one's bedroom.
BUT.... it is tiny and badly bad. Our panda had wonky eyes and one wasn't attached properly so I imagine in no time he will be a one-eyed panda. My 2 year old naturally fell in love with him the minute she saw him and wanted to cuddle him when she got up in the morning. After less than 24 hours though, his furry coating on his nose has gone! I think a product which is recommended for 10 months+ should be more robust!
Also, he has a rounded bottom and is hard to make stand up, and the socket for the charger is on his underside so when he's being charged up, he has to lie down. on top of this, the on/off switch is minute and not easy for an adult, let alone a child, in the dark, to operate.
I think that an 8 hour battery life is too short as well- most young children sleep for longer than this so while it might help them get to sleep at night at this time of year, it's gone off by morning.
I'm sure there are better designed, better quality products available for this amount of money.
